CLIFF NOTES

  • Get educated about money and finances, because you can’t help yourself or others without that education.
  • Have a spending plan or a budget. Write down what you want to accomplish and then plan for that.
  • Dominique talked about fixing credit with people and then moved on with financial planning and investing.
  • Don’t listen to credit myths like you can’t fix your credit on your own, changes happen instantly, and taking on more loans improves your score.
  • To fix your credit, create a specific goal like buying a home and then meet the goals to improve your score for that purpose.
  • Write down everything that is coming in and going out. Then pull your credit report and analyze what is negative.
  • It’s not always about deprivation, sometimes you just need to earn more money.
