Do you work within a virtual team?
I’ve been managing a completely virtual team for 3 years now and I’ve definitely learned some things the hard way. One of my biggest challenges initially was HOW to communicate with team members all over the country so that we could stay productive, but also feel like an actual team.
Check out a few of the tools that have helped me keep it all together!
ZOOM – web conferencing tool we use for weekly team meetings (also used for recording webinars and delivering Facebook lives)
Slack – streamlines communication and allows team to cut down on e-mail clutter
Google Drive – file sharing platform that allows teams to collaboratively edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations in real time
Dashlane – password manager that allows us to share access to pertinent sites without actual sharing password info
