I went from running a 7-figure business to begging the power company to keep my lights on so my baby’s milk wouldn’t spoil. I’ll never forget breaking down on the bathroom floor, praying for an answer.
And then I heard it. The Holy Spirit said, “Get your Bible, Patrice, and I’m going to show you why.”
I opened it to Proverbs 17:16: “What good is money in the hands of a fool if they had no desire to seek wisdom?”
That was my awakening.
I realized I’d been chasing external validation, clinging to what success was supposed to look like, while missing the essence of what true wealth actually is: the condition of well-being and happiness.
